Coffee in the State of Mexico is grown in eight municipalities in the south, and more than half comes from Amatepec, where 230 growers work some 338 hectares through the CAFOA cooperative. It is one of the few places in the country where dry processing dominates: 82% of Amatepec’s coffee is natural-processed, against an overwhelmingly washed Mexico.
